Very good performance on an old system

This this is great - I don't have any experience using receivers of this kind before, so can only go on my first time using a bluetooth receiver. I picked it up to connect to an old audio stereo system in my shed/workshop and play my music through my phone to, much like you would with a bluetooth speaker. This comes with the cable you need to plug via the AUX input/output - it's really easy. It's sort of a bluetooth adder if you will, it allows you to transmit music from your phone to this box, and then this converts it to an Aux signal to your stereo and lets it play it - that's how I understand it. And it works so that's the important thing.I haven't tested all of the features - it can do a lot more than just what I'm using it for like connect to multiple devices (phone and laptop via bluetooth), there's a free app you can download to act as equaliser and it has a remote. But for my needs it's basically plug and play, you just need to pair it to your phone and your old stereo is magically transformed into a bluetooth system. The sound is good, I can't tell the difference if the source is from my phone or on the original stereo itself, I think the volume is slightly lower but I've noticed that to be the case when using multiple devices in this manner - for example the same thing happens if I airplay or mirror things to my Apple TV, and then that is played through our telly. I think it's the exact same principle - this is like an Apple TV for your audio equipment.Works well and good value, from what I can research higher end units that do the same thing can cost double. I like this a lot.

Works fine when it works but it's a hassle.

I'm the kind of guy who loves adjusting and messing with stuff so this pre-amp seemed like a great idea. Plus I have other products from this company. I should've know better. the interface for the app is a bit difficult to get to work right. I really just wanted something that would let me play ANY audio to multiple devices. I'm forced to choose from pre-selected apps which is bummer. The system is hard to set up apparently, it took me forever to get it connected. It works but just feels like a hassle to use unfortunately which is a shame.

It does the thing..

It's a simple headline for what is ultimately a solid product, but that's honestly what comes to mind. That’s not a bad thing at all; this receiver does exactly what it advertises. Nothing more, nothing less. Is it perfect? No, definitely not, but it'll deliver what you pay for and won't leave you feeling ripped off. So, that’s a win.In all seriousness, the Arylic BR10 represents a solid value for what it offers. While none of its features are particularly groundbreaking, it meets all my needs without leaving me wanting more. It supports several connection options, its Bluetooth connection has been rock-solid whether linked to my phone or computer, the included remote covers most of the essentials, and the free app provides additional functionality if you choose to use it.The included wires were a bit disappointing, so I ended up purchasing a replacement 3.5mm to RCA cable for my setup. However, in fairness, this probably wouldn’t be necessary for 90% of people. I’m just picky. It connects to both my iPhone and MacBook simultaneously, which is quite interesting. This allows me to stream audio from my computer while adjusting the EQ from my phone. Something I haven’t encountered before. However, when connected to both devices, I’ve noticed some audio irregularities, like the volume increasing or decreasing on its own, as if it’s unsure which device should be controlling it. This can be easily fixed by disconnecting it from the unused device, but it will always reconnect to both devices when turned on unless I "forget" one of them. So, that’s a minor nuisance.Another issue I find annoying, though not unique to this product, is that whether I use it as a receiver or DAC, on my phone or computer, the volume level is always lower than with a direct connection. I've grown accustomed to this, but it's worth mentioning.Apart from those minor issues, it performs really well. The audio comes through clean and clear, regardless of the source. As mentioned, the Bluetooth connection is incredibly stable. If you have a good set of speakers that aren’t being fully utilized because you’re tired of dealing with wires, or if you’re looking to upgrade due to unstable Bluetooth, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try. Honestly, I’m not sure you could find a better option for the price, and it certainly beats spending a couple of hundred bucks (or more) on a decent set of speakers. Buy with confidence.

Powerful little device that opens up so many more audio options!

Ive recently completed my garden gazebo and have a amp install in there from a well know manufacture who specialises in multi-room music systems. From some crazy reason though it doesn’t come with bluetooth connectivity and only offers the red and white audio input on the back of it.I ordered this Arylic BR10 Bluetooth Receiver Preamplifier to open up a whole host of other connectivity options to this amp!Set up is really easy. I downloaded their Go Control app and hooked all the cables up. I did have to source a longer USB cable to reach to power output but thats not the products fault. The USB cable is your average USB cable length.I then proceed to connect to the receiver via my phone and done.. music passed through the receiver and straight through to my amp, no quality loss at all from what I can tell.As my amp has no other inputs on the back of it I can literally connect anything to this handy device through its other sources (Line in, USB, bluetooth and optical) and it’ll work. I also have another means of controlling the sound levels thanks to its handy remote (batteries sold separate)This is fantastic and gives me so many options in a room that will have other audio sources soon. Highly recommended!
