Impressive performance!

I set up the Fosi BT20A Bluetooth receiver / power amplifier with a pair of very old-school Infinity bookshelf speakers in my bedroom. I've paired it with the Amazon Echo device that sits on the nightstand on the other side of the room. When I tell "Alexa" to play music from Pandora (or anything else, for that matter), the Echo device readily links with the BT20A. The audio quality is excellent, despite the BT20A's small size. I especially appreciate the BT20A's total silence when it isn't linked to the Echo device (but still powered up and turned on). The previous Bluetooth adapter I had been using in this setup (with a separate audio power amplifier) had a low-level (but definitely audible) hum when not linked, and that was my primary motivation for buying the BT20A. All in all, the Fosi BT20A is a winner -- and a great value. Highly recommended!

Great turntable/phono amp for the money

For my purposes, this is a great little amp. It was about $50 when I bought it, and it allows me to connect my bookshelf speakers to a turntable I was gifted last month. The amp's bluetooth capabilities aren't great - the signal cuts in/out even when it's close to the source (my iMac or laptop) - but my turntable has bluetooth, so I don't need to use the amp for it. You can connect speakers to the amp either with bare wires or RCA plugs, which is helpful. It's super compact but solidly built. If you don't need the amp for bluetooth, I don't think you can go wrong with this little guy.

Perfect for my book shelf speakers

I got this amp to power a set of book shelf speakers I had built a couple years ago. We are using them for our computer setup. I had been powering them with another small amp but it didn’t have an internal Bluetooth and no bass or treble adjustment. This little amp has all that and takes up very little space and powers the speakers with ease. Amp connects to our computers Bluetooth with no problems and doesn’t get above a warm temp to touch. The amp puts out enough power to push the speakers to the point of being loud with no problem. If you looking for a compact sized amp with the additional features I would pick this up again with no hesitation.

Basic, very compact, amplifier

Purchased this to enable me to utilize some old speakers in a separate room. Small size was great, easy to hide, and it seems to have plenty of power. Bluetooth range with standard antenna is not great, but it's good enough for what I need within the room. What I'd have liked for it to have would be Bluetooth controlled volume (as opposed to the physical knob on the amp, or just using the phone volume tool), a balance control, and maybe even an amp power on/off through Bluetooth. But for the price it does the job, good enough for what I needed.

Break It In

First I listened to Rock and Roll. Not good. The sound to me was very flat. And, not a lot of sound stage. I switched to piano concertos to "break it in" and walked away. After several hours this little amp sounded better and better. I have made over 50 pairs of speakers and critically listen, always. And, while I am an older man, I do know what I want to hear. This Amp is amazing. I now want the tube amp. My general set up is 200 watt Adcom into my best produced speakers. This is literally a concert if I want to play it that loud. I have a pair of monitors I made in the 1980's that I cannot wait to try with the Fosi. All this with Bluetooth that goes from my computer, through a metal file cabinet, a closet (2 walls) and then finally to the Fosi. It works. And, I can play the WII.I do need to hook up a CD player or other source player to this amp. However, the Bluetooth deal has been so easy.
